Simge is a Program Leader for Z in Istanbul, Turkey. One of her roles is to help bring mainframe skills to many European and Asian countries that have headquarters in Turkey, and rich diverse workforces across skills, ages, and a mixture of new and old technologies. Simge organizes workshops and meetups at customers and in Turkish cities trying to help educate the 21st century workforce coming to the mainframe to evolve and shape the platform of tomorrow.
MEA BeeZ (Internship program for Z Technical) program is where IBM trains fresh graduates in traditional Z solution along with modern tools Like Redhat Openshift, Ansible, Wazi & IBM Cloudpaks and technologies like AI, Blockchain, DevOps.
These teams are currently working hand in hand with our customer helping them Modernize Z applications for trueHybrid Cloud environments. This program complements the qualified young talent shortage that Z customers are seeking.
